Town Council of Mutsuba is the highest decision-making organ of Mutsuba Town. It consists on 802 members who're elected every four years in the municipal election.

Mutsuba Town Central Office Building, Mutsuba Town, Mondstadt

The council meets at the Mutsuba Town Central Office Building (sometimes called "The White House") in the Town centre. The meetings take place almost always on Mondays. The meetings are sent and live on Channel 7 Mutsuba Television and Relay live on Mutsuba cable television (MCT)

The Young Front and the Conservative Christian Party have been in a local alliance since the municipal election of 2008.

Latest election:

Following the 2021 Town elections the Social democrats and the Social Democratic Council tied with 58 seats each. The Conservative Christian Party, however, received more votes and won by only 15 votes meaning their mayoral candidate, Kayama Shubēru was nominated to the post.
