The Zweiter Volksstaat Preßburg, commonly referred to as ZVP or Pressburg, was a micronation located in Central Europe. As a vassal state, it was also a constituent part of Lasetia. Its establishment followed the initiation of Plan ZVP on the 13th of December, due to the significant increase in fascist influence.

Etymology

The name "Pressburg" finds its origins in the historical name of Bratislava, Prešporok, translated to German as Preßburg. This micronation aspires to establish a neutralist state, with the goal of challenging the perceived dysfunctionality of the Slovakian government.

History

Establishment

Following the formulation of the "Zweiter Volksstaat Preßburg" plan, ZVP would be officially instituted on Uhoriaszág's territory on the 13th of December 2023 and formally recognized as the successor state to the District of Uhoriaszág on the 14th. This transformation would result in Martina III. ascending to the throne of ZVP under the Sozialistische Arbeiterpartei Preßburg, subsequently declaring it a vassal state of Lasetia and abolishing the autonomous district status.

Official Declaration of Independence

After the unofficial inception of ZVP on December 12, 2023, it was formally established on the subsequent day, marked by the hoisting of the official civil tricolor and a referendum with unanimous support for independence. Concurrently, the General Assembly was dissolved and substituted by the State Assembly and the People's Assembly.

History (Uhoriaszág)

Establishment

Following the brief power vacuum resulting from the dissolution of the Principality of Eswoutani and the subsequent annexation of southern territories by the Slovak Government, the newly appointed Regent, Nina I, assumed control over the lost territory from the dissolution. She expanded her authority into the entire apartment, asserting that Uhoriaszág is a successor state to the Kingdom of Hungary.

Political Reform & Order 311

In the present state of the micronation, which remains under a monarchy with a regent but without a king, the Regency Council has implemented Order 311. This signifies a rapid transition of the Kingdom into a State under the governance of the National Labour Party of Uhoriaszág. This bold decision has concurrently sparked an invasion of Slovakia, aimed at securing control over the territories that we have proclaimed but do not presently administer.

Enactment of the Order 311

An hour subsequent to Nina I. signing Order 311, it was implemented, effecting the transformation of the Kingdom into a State under the governance of the National Labour Party of Uhoriaszág. The government structure has transitioned into a one-person dictatorship, with authority centralized until further notice.

Unification with Lasetia

In the early hours of December 7th, 2023, the State of Uhoriaszág merged with Lasetia, forming an Autonomous Republic within the larger entity. Under the continued leadership of Nina I., this consolidation was undertaken to enhance Uhoriaszág's prosperity within the micronational community. Additionally, as part of this unification, German has been adopted as the official language of Uhoriaszág, and the currency has transitioned from the Euro to the Lasetian Mark.

Planned merging of the NLPU & NFWB

The merger of the NLPU and the NFWB is contingent upon the reversal of Case 0023. In the event of such a reversal, the proposed name for the amalgamated political party would be the "National Front for Workers' and Labour" (NFWL). It's anticipated that this merger might result in sanctions from the Lasetian government, given the ideologies espoused by the newly formed party.

Merging of the NLPU & NFWB

After the revision of Case 0023a, a decision was made for the two parties to merge into a single entity. This unified party retains complete control over the Uhoriaszág government and continues to hold 3/4 of the seats within the Uhoriaszág Parliament. The remaining seat is held by the Lasetian CRPL.

2023 Covid-19 Outbreak

On the 8th of December 2023, the General Secretary of the State of Uhoriaszág received information about a Covid-19 outbreak in Határváros, the capital city. Promptly following this revelation, the Uhoriaszág Parliament declared a special state of quarantine (Preemptive Quarantine) to contain the spread of the virus. The General Secretary immediately notified the Central Government in Lasetia. In response to the situation, the Civil Protection Force was established, and there was a reorientation of focus for the Ministry of Health and Medical Research towards pandemic response and mitigation efforts.

NFUM Victory in the 11th of December 2023 Special Elections

Owing to the inadequate management of the Covid-19 outbreak and various economic and internal challenges, special elections were conducted on December 11, 2023. The Nemzeti-fasiszta Uhoriaszág Munkáspárt emerged victorious, leading to the ascension of Martina II. to the throne of Uhoriaszág. Subsequently, the new leadership implemented a ban on the National Fatherland Front for Workers' Bolshevism and dissolved the Feminist Party. Anticipated repercussions include the likelihood of sanctions from the Lasetian government, given the neo-fascist ideology of the NFUM.

Establishment of the District of Uhoriaszág

In the aftermath of the NFUM's election victory, the unification with the State of Lasetia reached completion through the establishment of the District of Uhoriaszág under the governance of Martina II. This transition ushered in a series of liberalized laws and a limited form of democracy within the District of Uhoriaszág. As part of these changes, the CRPL was unbanned, and the NFFWB was dissolved, paving the way for a two-party political system to take shape.

Zweiter Volksstaat Preßburg

The "Zweiter Volksstaat Preßburg" plan entails a series of reforms and restructurings within and outside the framework of Uhoriaszág, primarily centered around the re-establishment of the Pressburg Republic in its second iteration, with Uhoriaszág serving as its capital district. This transformation may also involve reconsidering the relationship with Lasetia, potentially transitioning from autonomy to a vassal state status, albeit with a sense of melancholy, all in the pursuit of the micronation's greater good.

Formal Establishment of the Zweiter Volksstaat Preßburg

Following the formulation of the "Zweiter Volksstaat Preßburg" plan, ZVP would be officially instituted on Uhoriaszág's territory on the 13th of December 2023 and formally recognized as the successor state to the District of Uhoriaszág on the 14th. This transformation would result in Martina III. ascending to the throne of ZVP under the Sozialistische Arbeiterpartei Preßburg, subsequently declaring it a vassal state of Lasetia and abolishing the autonomous district status.

Dissolution of ZVP

A week following the establishment of ZVP, it has undergone dissolution due to internal issues and Martina III's resignation from the position of President. This marks a substantial event, and it is highly improbable that another micronation will emerge in its place. The formal dissolution is scheduled for the 22nd of December 2023.

Cases

Cases (Uhoriaszág)

Case 0023

Case 0023 is a law, that prohibits the inclusion of any Fascist and Far Right politics in the government. However, it stipulates that engaging in such ideologies will not be treated as a criminal offense for the public.

Case 0023a

Following the planned merger of the two parties, Case 0023 has been revised and renumbered as Case 0023a. The updated version, effective as of December 7th, 2023, relaxes restrictions on far-right politics in the government. However, it explicitly maintains the prohibition of extremist Nazi-like ideologies, emphasizing their strict prohibition and perpetual disallowance.

Case 0023b

Following the victory of the NFUM in the Special Elections, Case 0023 was once again revised. The new revision involves a complete withdrawal of the ban on any far-right ideology throughout Uhoriaszág. Instead, the revised case implements heavy sanctions on far-left ideologies within the government.

Case 0041

Case 0041 is a law in Uhoriaszág that outright prohibits any expression of Zionist ideology within its borders. It's important to note that this law is not inherently anti-Semitic; rather, it is a response to the contentious Palestine-Israeli conflict. The legislation specifically aims to restrict any sympathies towards Zionist perspectives within the context of this conflict.

Case 0029

Case 0029 is a law that declares the establishment of a One-Party state. This legislation involves the transfer of the UP seat from the CRPL to the newly formed and renamed National Motherland Front for Bolshevism and the Workers' (NMFBW). As a result, the NMFBW now holds the exclusive position as the 100% ruling party within the State of Uhoriaszág.

Case 0029a

Case 0029 has been temporarily suspended following the establishment of the EGU in response to the recent Covid-19 outbreak within our borders. Once the quarantine concludes, Case 0029a will be reverted, and the suspension on Case 0029 will be lifted.

Case 0029b

Following the temporary suspension of Case 0029 under Case 0029a, a revision has been introduced in Case 0029b. This new case declares the dissolution of the EGU, renaming the Uhoriaszág Parliament to the General Assembly. Additionally, it states that the quarantine will persist as a measure to counter the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, which currently has only one confirmed case.
