the 2021 austin island monetary reserve elections are the first elections to the monteary reserve. three of the 18 bank presidents are up for elections. the banks that are up for election are the crander bank,the nunavut town bank, and the shipyard bank. elections will be held on january,18th,2021. with runoffs if necessary on february,15th,2021
background
the monetary reserve of austin island is the central banking system of the republic of austin island. there are 18 members called presidents (17 presidents from each bank and a president from the bank of austin island each bank president is elected to a six year term by a majority of the popular vote.
electoral system
each bank president is elected using the Two-Round System. if no candidate gets a majority of the votes a runoff is held.
