with 8 registered nations all of which have played in a previous season. It was the first season played under the league's new name "MicroNations League Trophy".Season
The season started with 8 registered nations that were managed by people with experience in the league and only one "new" team, the Versmark FC, which was founded by citizens of the Sovereign State of Versmark, spiritual successor state of Empire of Lehmark, the latter dissolved in the middle of the 2022-2023 season. Half of the registered teams have played since the inception of the league and the other half has played only one season.
At the start of the season, three teams battled for the podium, with the Lundenwick Lions, Versmark FC and AF Sancratosia keeping the podium between them for most of the first half of the season. Starting on week 15, 2021-2022 winners, Shedingeh, began a surprising comeback which put them on the top position by week 18, taking the top spot from AF Sancratosia. During that time, current reigning champions, the Lundenwick Lions began a slow descent from the second place, which they held for most of the first half, to fifth place by week 26.
4th place to 6th place has been heavily contested in the first half of the season between Shedingeh, the New Weddington Warriors FC and the Ωmegaland Tropicals. By the mid-point, Shedingeh was able to reach the 1st place, the New Weddington Warriors FC settled for the 5th place for most of the season and the Empire of Jakwal was able to take the 6th place from the Ωmegaland Tropicals who began the second half of the season on 7th place. For the entire season, the Urabba Parks Cockatoos were not able to achieve another position than the 8th and last place.
By week 28, four teams, positions 4 to 7, were within 44 points of each other.
