Admiral is a four-star Navy rank of the New Prussian Imperial Navy, and the equivalent NATO paygrade is OF-9. It is equivalent to the General. Admirals are also commanding officers of fleets.
The executive officer to the Grand Admiral of the Imperial Navy is the Admiral of the Imperial Navy, who carries the rank of Admiral. The rank may also be posthumously awarded. Admirals outrank Vice Admiral and Colonel General. Admirals are out ranked by the Grand Admiral and the Field Marshal.
