The Communist Party of the VISSR (CPVR) was the ruling political party of the Vancouver Island Soviet Socialist Republic and supreme governing authority in the nation. The CPVR was founded on July 15, 2019 by VISSR leader Comrade Dustinov, who serves as it's first and current General Secretaryand dissolved on 18 February 2021. The CPVR functions was the capacity of a micronational political party, whose authority and activities are purely dedicated to the VISSR.

History

The Supreme Soviet, under the direction of Comrade Dustinov, made the revolutionary decision to govern the nation under the leadership of a vanguard political party. The primary aim of the CPVR is to further the socialist cause of the workers and peasants under the banner of Marxism-Leninism. Communist Party of VISSR is dissolved on 18 February 2021, due to foundation of Dominion of Vancouver Island.

Organization

The CPVR is the ultimate governing authority in the Vancouver Island Soviet Socialist Republic. The General Secretary leads the party, which means he/she was also the supreme leader of the nation by default. The Vice General Secretary assists the General Secretary in day to day duties, and assists him/her in carrying out leadership responsibilities over the other party members which make up the Central Committee.

Membership

There are 7 party members. Every citizen of the VISSR is a card carrying member of the CPVR, and part of the Central Committee.

Armed Wing

The armed wing of the party is made up of the Island Liberation Army and its respective branches. All military branches swear an oath of allegiance to the Party, and answer only to the General Secretary.
