Sademaara is a crown dependency of the Abeldane Empire. The territory was founded on November 17, 2017 by Nick Fredriksson, the former leader of Førvania. Fredriksson had originally planned for Sademaara to be named Vandpusten, and serve as a territory of Paravia, but, after being notified by Patrick Renwick that Paravian federalism was inactive, he joined Abelden and claimed territory on behalf of that nation. On December 5, the Sademaara Act was passed through the Reichsversammlung, granting Sademaara the status as a Crown Dependency.
Government
The government is a unicameral legislation, with a three-person Parliament elected through a full preferential voting system. Out of the three elected members of parliament, one of them will be selected as Lord Governor by the Abeldane Emperor, and be responsible for reporting legislation to Abelden.
As of December 2017, the interim government consists of Nick Fredriksson (governor), Sophie Luna, and Vic Rosenheart.
