The Crowned Colony of Donkrea (Donkrean: Cяωvúćasúd Cωtaωćasju ωré Dωćaskяúiu) is a colony of the Ìmpireachd ùr na h-Alba and the successor to the Imperial Republic of Donkrea. It was founded on 3 September 2022 during the Donkrean Re-Ignition, a failed attempt to bring the Imperial Republic of Donkrea back to its former glory following months of government inactivity and micronational terrorism.

Unlike its predecessor, the Crowned Colony of Donkrea is not a fully independent nation or a satellite nation. It is governed by Emperor Aaron I of Sprinske and due to it being in the Kolniari Sector, the Ìmpireachd ùr na h-Alba is officially a Kolniari nation.

History

The Donkrean Re-Ignition was a time where the Imperial Republic of Donkrea began attempting to restructure itself and return to its former glory. The Laird of Donkrea was contacted by William M Steeger on 7 August 2022, who requested the job of Prime Minister. He agreed to the deal to save Donkrea from being dissolved or sold off, but the government inactivity problem still remained, so on 3 September 2022, the Ìmpireachd ùr na h-Alba were given the nation as a colony. The Crowned Colony of Donkrea was formed, and due to its location, the Ìmpireachd ùr na h-Alba now had land in the Kolniari Sector. Emperor Aaron I of the Sprinske Empire, who had also been the Laird of Donkrea, was offered the job of Governor of Donkrea, and he accepted.

Government

The Crowned Colony of Donkrea is owned by King Niall I of the Ìmpireachd ùr na h-Alba, but it is governed by the Governor of Donkrea. The Governor has no term limits, and is appointed by the king, the current Governor of Donkrea is Emperor Aaron I of Sprinske.

Flag

The flag of the Crowned Colony of Donkrea is based on that of the previous Imperial Republic of Donkrea. The shades of green and red are modified, so that it has the same shade of green as the flag of Ìmpireachd ùr na h-Alba and the same shade of red that appears on the bottom of the flag of the Sprinske Empire. The idea was to relate it more to both countries, whilst still retaining the traditional colours of Kolniaric Nations.
