The Culture of New Melanesia is the pattern of activity and symbolism associated with the Republic of New Melanesia.
Language
The official language of the republic is English. However the government also recognises Spanish as a national language.
Media and Broadcasting
Under the current political system, media in New Melanesia is controlled by the Government. However some freedom of press is allowed provided is is approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
News
The national news source, the New Melanesian Broadcasting Corporation, is state owned and managed by the ministry of internal affairs.
Symbols, Flags and Emblems
The primary national symbol is the Flag of New Melanesia. The national emblem is also an important national symbol, having a range of variations for different parts of the national government.
