The Deputy Prime Minister, officially the Deputy Prime Minister of the Sepranan Democratic Republic, was the deputy head of government of Seprana. The Deputy Prime Minister was appointed by the President of Seprana on the advice of the Prime Minister of Seprana. The Deputy Prime Minister’s role is was to act on behalf of the Prime Minister when he could not perform his powers. The Deputy Prime Minister was also given a ministerial portfolio to be head of a department as well as deputy to the Prime Minister.
When the Sepranan Democratic Republic was established on 10 January 2022, the Premiership of Seprana was created as well, and a deputy position was made with it. Joseph Montgomery in his capacity as Foreign Secretary was the de facto vice premier. He was sacked on 19 January 2022 as Foreign Secretary, and Ludwig Collins was made the first Vice Premier by the Council of State. The position was renamed Deputy Prime Minister on 4 February 2022.
Duties and responsibilities
The Deputy Prime Minister’s role in the Cabinet of Ministers was small, but when the Prime Minister of Seprana was unable to execute the powers and responsibilities the Prime Minister acted on his behalf until the Prime Minister is able to.

- Advised the Prime Minister in matters of administration.
- Chair meetings of the Cabinet of Ministers when the Prime Minister wasn’t able to
- Advise the President of Seprana.
- Overlook elections.
- Appoint the Secretary-General of the Prime Minister’s Office.
