Die Stem van Tarvit (English: "The Voice of Tarvit") also known as "The Call of Tarvit" or simply "Die Stem" was adopted by Rex. Keenan Carr upon the merger of the Kingdom of Neuk and the Tarvit Republic. It was adapted from "Die Stem van Neuk", which was itself adapted from "Die Stem van Suid-Afrika", the former anthem of South Africa. The Kingdom of Tarvit was given this anthem as tribute to Rex. Keenan's Afrikaans heritage (having family in Louis Trichardt).

Die Stem van Neuk was preceeded only by "Maine Coon March" by Anthony Clark, serving as the only preceding anthem of Die Stem.

Die Stem van Tarvit The Call of Tarvit Literal Translation of Die Stem van Tarvit

Uit die blou van onse hemel,
Uit die diepte van ons see,
Oor ons ewige gebergtes
Waar die kranse antwoord gee.
Deur ons vêr verlate vlaktes
Met die kreun van ossewa.
Ruis die stem van ons geliefde,
Vir ons Koninkryk, Tarvitia.
Ons sal antwoord op jou roepstem,
Ons sal offer wat jy vra:
Ons sal lewe, ons sal sterwe,
Vir ons Koninkryk, Tarvitia.
Ringing out from our blue heavens,
From our deep seas breaking round,
Over everlasting mountains,
Where the echoing crags resound,
From our plains where creaking wagons,
Cut their trails into the earth,
Calls the spirit of our country,
Of the land that gave us birth.
At thy call we shall not falter,
Firm and steadfast we shall stand,
At thy will to live or perish,
O for Tarvit, our Kingdom.
From the blue of our heaven,
From the depths of our sea,
Over our eternal mountain ranges,
Where the cliffs give answer,
Through our far-deserted plains,
With the groan of ox-wagon,
Rises the voice of our beloved,
For our Kingdom, Tarvit,
We will answer to your calling,
We will offer what you ask,
We will live, we will die,
For our Kingdom, Tarvit.
