On 15 December 2023, the Freedom Brigades and the MADF which would be named the freedom coalition, would coup the imperial government of the French Republic. The freedom coalition would beging the coup in the imperial house. Small clashes would begin between the Imperial police and army against the freedom coalition. In the end the freedom coaliton would take controll and dissolve the French Republic forming the Ålander state. Axel Himberg, the former emperor would be the leader of the coup to gain more power.
