The Socialist Republic of Slavistan, commonly known as Slavistan, is a micronation located in Oregon city, Oregon.
History
The Socialist Republic of Slavistan was first established October 22nd, 2021. However, only has it recently declared itself a country. The name, too, has undergone changes. It was first known as Slavland in 2018, taking residence in the kitchen of Boris' parents. The name was once again changed to Minecraftia and too was location, now residing in the family trailer. Around 2019-2020, the country was now known as "The Commune". A semi-socialist anarchist state residing in the same home. Next was the Republic of Rusiana. It was only a proposed state and never gained traction. The Commune was then re-instated once Boris' family had moved to Oregon City. The name was then changed to "The New Commune". The Commune was shortly disbanded thereafter. Once the commune was disbanded, the Republic of Slavistan was created. With the help of his friend Dominic, they created the republic in a means to separate from the United States. Dominic then became inactive, so Boris took the country into his own hands, to continue the legacy. Afterwards, the Socialist Republic of Slavistan was born. The crimson banner now flies high in persuit of freedom, socialism and justice for the workers of the world.
Government
Slavistan is a socialist one-party state.
Military
Slavistan is currently working on military installments and recruitments. For the time being, the only power to Slavistan are 3 pocket knives and a homemade musket.
Uniforms
Slavistan currently has no uniforms, other than soldiers be required to wear any form of camouflage clothing they own when on active duty.
National Anthem
Slavistan's national anthem is To Serve Russia, created by the Red Army Choir in 1986
Foreign Relations
Slavistan is currently in communications with the Arstotzkan Union. Originally Slavistan was going to be acquired by Arstotzka, but now will be a fully independent state.
