As one of the micronations, it succeeded the Republic of Tor de Cenci, founded by Francesco Orso, Leo and The But, now serving as its current leader since the transition from a dictatorship to a republic in June 2023. Yesela refers to itself as a "sovereign state" since 2022 and has declared itself to be in a state of war with Italy since 2023.

Government and politics

Yesela is a de jure Syndacalist republic, with the constitution providing provisions for a Anarchist council to serve as the legislative branch of government. However, the micronation is permanently under martial law, essentially granting authority to President Leo Vika; a President. In addition to being the official head of state and government, Leo also serves as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of War. His Turtle, the Reja Roki is the deputy Head of Government and State, Minister of Internal Affairs, State Security and Finance.
