Duke of Santa Monica (German: Herzog von Santa Monica)is a title in the peerage of Ascar. It is the premier dukedom in the peerage. It was created in 2023 for Jack Black, 1st Count of Santa Monica. It is accompanied by a Lordship of Ascar.
The title was created to elevate the Count of Santa Monica to the rank of Duke as befitting his role as the premier noble of Ascar. As the premier of noble they are the de facto heir of the Archprince when there is no one in the line of succession.
The name of the peerage refers to the city of Santa Monica in Los Angeles County, United States of America, the birthplace of the first Duke.
