Emblem of the SSD, was designed by the President of SSD himself, and the final version was adopted on 6 May 2022. Before that, the SSD changed its name many times. Although the SSD is a İslamic-Socialist state, it does not include a socialist and İslamic symbol in its coat of arms.

The eagle is the national animal of SSD.
