The Government of the National Union of Cubia is a republican parliamentary-based government.

Executive

The Cube Council has 5 ministerial positions, which may increase as the Cube Council majority increases as well. Ministers are selected by the Cube Controller and approved by the Cubelord.

Head of State

The head of state is the Cubelord, which is the Cubian equivalent to a president. The Cubelord has the power to call general elections, appoint and fire Cube Controllers and their cabinet ministers and declare wars. They also sit in the Cube Council for their respective party with an appointed seat.

Ministerial Council

The Cabinet is appointed by the Cube Controller and approved by the Cubelord. They control various parts of Cubian life.

Cubian National Bank/Mint

The CNB keeps an eye on the money of Cubia and controls the circulation of its 2 currency, Cubecoin. The CNM controls the production of the coins and notes of the Cubecoin. They are both headed by the Chancellor of the Exchequer of Cubia, Sooka Bliat.

Cubian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Cubian Ministry of Foreign Affairs controls foreign relations of Cubia. It is headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Spuds.

Cubian Ministry of Domestic Affairs and Culture

The Cubian Ministry of Domestic Affairs and Culture controls the activity of things in Cubia, such as transport, shopping and defence. It is headed by the Minister of Domestic Affairs and Culture, Curri Mann.

The Cubian Ministry of Culture controlled the media in Cubia, and how they were categorised with the CCS. It was headed by the Minister of Culture.

Legislature

The unicameral Cube Council has 20 members which usually vote on party lines. Every roughly 73 days, a general election happens. There was a referendum to make Cubia have presidential elections year, but it was rejected by 75% of the population. The main polling day is Friday-Sunday.
