The Governor of the Federal Bank of Aumarea, commonly the Governor of the Federal Bank or the Federal Bank Governor, is the most senior office and chief executive in the Federal Bank of Aumarea. It is nominally a civil service post but appointments are usually made from within the bank. The governor plays a major role in guiding national economic and monetary policy, and is therefore one of the most important public officials in the United Federation.

Appointment

The governor is appointed by the President of Aumarea with the advice and consent of the senate. Usually the Treasury Minister nominates potential governors to the president and the senate for appointment.

The governor serves for a single 8 year term.
