Venae, offically known as The Grand Republic of Venae, is a micronation established on the 2nd of June 2023 located along the River Welland in Lincolnshire located in England. Founded with the vision of promoting honour, liberty, and the dignity of all living people and animals, Venae aims to create a proud and honourable nation.
The Grand Republic of Venae is a republic with 2 sovereign leaders, (Sovereign Lord of the Grand Republic of Venae) Chris I and (Sovereign Lord of the Grand Republic of Venae) Luke I, controlling the nation with equal power. The micronation strongly values honour and the liberty. The legal system is based on the laws of the United Kingdom, ensuring safety and equality for all citizens. The law is strictly against harming any fellow person or animal in the Republic, helping to reflect its commitment to honour and overall respect towards one another. The Grand Republic of Venae is a proud supporter of dignity and inclusivity, welcoming individuals from all backgrounds, religions, cultures, and nationalities to contribute towards our growth. The territory encompasses 2 lagoons with 5 islands, a forest and marshland in Lincolnshire, near the Wash bay, offering a calm and natural scenic environment. The flag, with a yellow background, a black cross, and a white cross, symbolizes honour, respect, and dignity. Overall, Venae upholds principles of inclusivity, respect, and peace, fostering a proud and strong community.

Etymology
The name Venae was inspired by the word Victory, which symbolises our pride and honour.
History
The Establishment
The Grand Republic of Venae has been around in some form or another since early 2021, and took the current form in 2023. The nation was established by Chris I and Luke I on the 2nd of June, 2023
After the Establishment
- The Grand Republic of Venae formed diplomatic relationships, and befriended the Principality of Chrimate (Islands) .
- The Grand Republic of Venae was invited to join Union of North Atlantic Micronations and became a founding member.
- The Grand Republic of Venae expanded borders and more than doubled in size on the 10th of August.
Venaean Civil War
- Venae successfully defeated a coup which attempted to overthrow the government and install a Nazi government. This coup was a disaster and Venae won on the 21st of September, 2023.
Politics and government
The government is ruled by two leaders who use the title of "Sovereign Lord of the Grand Republic of Venae", which is a title that can only be held by the two original leaders. The Grand Republic of Venae is non-democratic in terms of power, but still allows votes for rules, alliances and changes.
Head of government
The government is ruled by the "Sovereign Lord(s) of the Grand Republic of Venae", and most of the power of the nation belongs to them. The current "Sovereign Lord(s)" are self-declared when the micronation was founded and cannot be overthrown or transferred.

The legal system of the Grand Republic of Venae is based on the laws of the United Kingdom. It ensures justice, fairness, and protection for all individuals within its jurisdiction.
Military
The military of Venae is led by the Sovereign Lords who share joint control over the military. The military has a small arsenal, solely based on defence and protection of the nation and it's allies.

There are 2 main administrative regions of The Grand Republic of Venae. These regions are Venae and Victoria Island. The largest of the regions is Venae, which contains 2 lagoons, forested areas, 5 islands and a large marshland area. Victoria Island is the second largest region and is an artificial island in the Wash, Lincolnshire. Overall, Venae is a diverse nation with multiple regions.
Economy
Venae uses it's own currency called the Venaean Mense, and 1 Venaean Mense is equal to 3 Pound Sterling.
