People who recieved the award in its physical form.

The first 5 out of the 24 were awarded to the grand admiral. The 6th and the 7th were awarded to Mr. A, and the 8th was awarded to the Vice Chairman. The medal did not have a ribbon bar and it was represented by text in the awardee's MRA card. None of the medals was ever awarded to an online member physicaly, only by name and title.

General info

The medal was presented by the Union of Soviet Antarctican Republics a few months after it was formed, in January 2020. The original design was made by the ministry of defence. The design featured a silver-colored cross, with black enamels that would bear the phrace "Hero of OCC". Only one medal was created but due to technical issues, the design (and the medal) was scrapped in March 2020. The medal was then replaced by a black and white ribbon bar acompanied by the title "Hero of OCC". Only during the Great Military Reorganisation of 2022 the medal would be redisigned, once again, by the ministry of defence. The new design was simple: a star made from a single piece of brass would be attached with a suspention ring to a brass rectangle measuring 1x2 cm. The rectangle would bear the serial number of the medal while the star would bare the word "HERO". In the next month, over 24 of them were made. Its labour counterpart, Hero of the Socialist Labour, never got a physical form.

Τhe 9th Hero of the USAR

Little is known about the medal or its owner (or even about the way it was destroyed). The medals owners name was not written down and was soon forgotten (however it is speculated it belonged to a party member). It is possible that the award ceremony was delayed and the medal remained in the award box and was destroyed during a transportation but others speculate that it was destroyed during a fight.
