The official titles was His Majesty's Ambassador to North Korea. The office was considered one of the most important posts of Ikerlàndia´s diplomatic services.

Ikerlàndia first officially recognized the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea as a sovereign state on 23 July 2023, being the second Asian nation to be recognised by Ikerlàndia. North Korea eventually grew to become one Ikerlàndia's closest allies. In 4 March 2023 the office of Amabassador to North Korea was created by the Royal Decree 1-21 with The Most Dignified Daagga Krainna, Duchess of Daagga, being appointed as the first office-holder..

The Ikerlandian Ambassador was the primary responsible for the specific relations between Ikerlàndia and North Korea, this means, for the immediate interests of Ikerlàndia in North Korea, and served a primarily ceremonial role, answering to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
