The Jalaur River Territorial Management Office (JRTM) is an Arlandican government agency responsible for protecting, managing, and recognizing the territorial claims of micronations in the Jalaur River, in accordance with the Jalaur River Territorial Management Agreement.
Despite being linked to the Arlandican government, JRTM is considered an international agency because it serves other micronations that have claims in the area.
Purpose
Its primary purpose is to protect, manage, and recognize the territorial claims of micronations in the Jalaur River.
It is headed by an Arlandican administrator appointed by the monarch. It has a staff of citizens from other micronations, especially the claimants, to prevent Arlandica-centric decision-making. The agency conducts mapping and annual census activities to delineate and document territorial claims in the area.
Territorial Integrity of Claimants
The agency respects and recognizes the claims of micronations in the area. It will not intervene in the laws implemented by the claimants within their borders as long as they do not harm the claims of other micronations.
Conflict Resolution
During times of conflict in the area, the first option would be for JTRM to activate the Coalition forces, composed of the militaries and law enforcement agencies of the micronations who are claimants in the area. This occurs when a micronation that does not have a certificate of recognition of their claims attacks a claimant recognized by the agency.
The activation of Coalition forces was already initiated in the War in Jalaur River in January 2024. This organization of forces may continue through this agency.
Alternatively, the conflict may be resolved through peaceful means.
Certificate of Recognition
The Certificate of Recognition is a certificate issued by the agency to a micronation that has claims in the area, representing the legality of such a claim.
Micronations may apply for a claim, but the agency prohibits claims that contradict existing claims of other micronations in the area.
Representatives of micronations may apply for the Jalaur River territorial claim through sending a letter of intent through the official Facebook pages and accounts of the Arlandican government via Messenger, or by sending an email through their website.
Territorial Claims
The following are the micronations that have claims in the Jalaur River (recognized by JRTM and as of April 10, 2024):
Kingdom of Arlandica: Corvalon Islands (Corvalon Island, Maputi Island, Ulysses Island, Garvel Island, Fatema Isle) – Administratively, a territory that is part of the Province of Galrea.
Kingdom of Curimae: Riverdale Group of Islands (Iron Ball Island, Morning Step Island, Phoenix Stone Island, Revival Walk Island) – A special administrative district.
Grand Duchy of Zakinesia: Reyes Islands (Halawod Island, Norgainia Island) – Part of Trinidad Province.- Federal Republic of Vista: Semper Fidelis Island
