Rutherland is a micronation in Western Europe known as the Kingdom of Rutherland.

The late King Thomas Quilliere the first established Rutherland as a monarchy in 1991, and it is now controlled by his son, King Thomas Quilliere the second.

Rutherland was formed on the 6th of the 10th of 1991 by the first king, who desired a location where relationships and happiness could reign supreme in order to attain wealth.

The Kingdom of Rutherland is ruled by a monarchy, which is presently led by King Thomas Quilliere II.

History

The coronation of the second king on August 11, 2021, the country's 30th anniversary, was the first major event. On that day, King Thomas Quilliere the second was 15 years old. The country has traditionally had a well-structured government. The second king intends to honour his father's legacy by fully extending Rutherland. King Thomas II has just befriended a fellow king and expects to establish diplomatic relations shortly. Rutherland's historical population, believed to be over 300 000, has been lost owing to "claiming" of land due to other global occurrences.

Thanks to technology, the internet, and new partners, Rutherland has entered a new era.

Rutherland was previously unknown to the rest of the world, but with the advent of the internet, Rutherland will be able to regain its footing.

Conflicts and wars

The Kokawa War

In 1994, Rutherland went to war with the now-defunct Republic of Kokawa over a power struggle.

Rutherland won the conflict and was able to keep the area they had claimed.

Kokawa was founded as a good republic, but corruption arose, resulting in a conflict with Rutherland.

The Rutherlandic Constitution

All peoples can apply for Rutherlandic citizenship, although it can be removed if the citizen is judged a threat to the people of Rutherland.

The citizens of Rutherland have been granted the right to vote if they are over the age of 14.

The Rutherlandic people will pick national leaders such as the Prime Minister and the heads of each state in a national election.

The inhabitants of Rutherland enjoy the right to free speech, expression, sexuality, religious views, and a fair trial in a court of law, according to the law. The legal system is structured in accordance with modern society.

A judge who oversees the case will preside over the proceedings, and a jury of 12 persons will hear the criminal accusations.

Judge, prosecutor, jury, defendant, and counsel are all judicial stakeholders.

Rutherland's High Court, Supreme Court, District Court, and Suburban Court make up the judicial structure.

Many taxes and donations will be used to finance the government.

Property rights allow people to own houses, companies, land, and other assets. The constitution can be changed if the government agrees to it by a large majority.
