Micronation Soft Power index

This page is a list of micronation by soft power classification, it was created by members of the Aulpannian Shatidom Committee and includes technological advancement, cultural & economic independence, military strength and diplomatic relations.

Method

The scale is fairly simple. The scale is from one to five, one being the worst class, and five being the best class. The categories, combined with the various scales are as follows:

Population :

• 1: 5 or less
• 2: 15 or less
• 3: 30 or less
• 4: 50 or less
• 5: 79 or less
• 6: 99 or less
• 7: 135 or less
• 8: 136 or more

Cultural development

• 1: one flag, one athem found on internet, no territory, online nation
• 2: One flag, one anthem found on internet, nation with territory
• 3: Claims to be the predecessor of a defunct nation (such as the German Empire or the Roman Empire)
• 4: One flag, one anthem created by a citizen or an artist, country secular by tradition or with a religion, one territory and a national sport
• 5: Flag, Anthem, Secular or Religion by tradition, one territory and national sport, with a language created, and speak by the majority, one scool system and more than 50 citizen
• 6: Flag, Anthem, secular or religion by tradition, one territory, national sport, language, +50 citizen and national music, army or ceremonial guard, national holiday, local architecture
• 7: Same but a state regime still in place today that lasted more than 5 years, the country has already participated or won in micronational sports competitions
• 8 : Same but The country has more than 20 years of existence, has a territory, is listened to by many states, its disappearance will arouse the sadness of the entire micronational world

Allies

• 1: No allies, no mutual recognition, the country is unknow
• 2: Pupet State, under a stronger country, or independent country but don't are member of organisation
• 3: Country member of a Micronational Organisation, have less than 15 citizens
• 4: Same but the country is the ruler of organisation or is an important member
• 5: The country have less than 20 mutual recognition treaty, not member of any organisation
• 6: the country have less than 20 mutual recognition treaty but is member of a big organisation
• 7: The country is having more than 21 mutual recognition treaty, member of many big organisation and have more than 80 citizens
• 8: the country is rulling many organisation and have more than 30 mutual recognition treaty

Sport

• 1: No sport, less than 15 citizens
• 2: Online country, have less than 30 citizens
• 3: same but the country already been in a E-Sport competition at minor scale
• 4: The country is online but Already been in a E-sport competition with more than 20 micronations
• 5: Same but the country organize this competition
• 6: The country have one territory, didn't participe at micronational event but have a national sport with national competition, the country have more than 30 citizens
• 7: The country already participe at a major micronational event
• 8: The country organize or won the micronational event

Literature and music

• 1: the country have one anthem found on internet
• 2: The national music of the country is found on internet
• 3: There are books written by independent people who don't want to be affiliated with the micronation, there is music production but it's the same
• 4: Same but there is more than 80 citizens
• 5: there are many books mainly for kids and the musics is made by some citizens who created their own music label
• 6: books are mainly speaking about politics, self improvement and sociology, there is national music artistes, independent or promoted by committee
• 7: There are more than 130 citizens, the nation is invested in literature and music, the committee promotes artists from all walks of life and the topics are different from each other with different points of view exposed.
• 8: Literature is written under the national language and is educated to the younger generation, the country is over 25 years old and has institutions dedicated to music and literature.

Patriotism & Army

• 1: The nation is a vague word, the country is less than 9 months old, there is no history, no institution, no army
• 2: Although the proposed atmosphere is friendly, the country has fun to even find on the internet, the country has no territory or real base
• 3: The country is engaged in a fight against an enemy, although it is virtual and there are less than 30 citizens, citizens are invested in the survival of their country.
• 4: The country is a virtual base OR have a territory but has institutions that follow the choice of the government, the population is patriotic, attached to their value and a direct democracy or a cult of personality is in place
• 5: The country has a real territory, institutions and more than 45 inhabitants trained to defend their country is ready to engage in case of problem despite ideological differences
• 6: The country has more than 80 inhabitants, conscription on 25% of the population, training and sports offered, there are sometimes ceremonies where the population is invited to participate
• 7: The country has more than 4 years of existence, 130 inhabitants, has already fought in wars and fights where airsoft weapons or other dangerous thing have been thrown, there have already been injuries during these wars
• 8: Same but the country have more than 20 years,

Economy

• 1: $100 are won every years and 45 or less are spent for population or developpement
• 2 : $20 are won every months because of trade
• 3: $65 are won every months because of trade
• 4: $100 are won every months because of trade
• 5: $150 are won every months because of trade
• 6: $225 are won every months because of trade
• 7: $375 are won every months because of trade
• 8: $725 are won everymonths because of trade

Level Calculation

Finally, once all these are determined, one calculates the level of a specific micronation by taking the average of all the scores. If a factor is unknown, a guess can be made or it may be left out. Here is an example:

Aulpanne : 8+6+5+6+7+6+8 = 46 || 46/8 = 5.75

1 - 1.375 = your country is too young to run in this list of micronation, you probably have under 5 months, we can't call your ......... a micronation, and if your nation is older than 5 months, do something, he will collapse !!!

1.5 - 2.00 = young country, in the good road to become a strong nation, you are for now a qualified as a MINOR POWER

2.125 - 3.25 = your micronation is not bad, probably the first or second years of existence, you could do much better if you were invested in the life of your country, you are now qualified as a REGIONAL POWER

3.375 - 4.125 = A very serious nation, it was probably difficult to choose sometimes because of the population and online nations, you are stronger then the average nation, you are now qualified as MAJOR POWER

4.25 - 5 = Your nation is really stronger then the average micronation, you have a strong culture, a major population, your nation probably stand since Five years or More, you are now qualified as MAJOR REGIONAL POWER

5.125 - 6.625 = Strong Culture, Strong population, Strong Economy, You are literally a country before a micronation, we can easily qualified you as BIG POWER

7 - 8 : The Strongest Micronation ever, Old and Loved, that's what you are, if a nation is at this rank, it's probably a micronationaliste fan that put this nation at this rank and not the creator, we can qualified you as SUPERPOWER
