Micronational SAR's, offically Micronational or Self-proclaimed Special administrative regions of China are micronations that claim to want to be a SAR of the People's Republic of China. Micronational self-proclaimed special administrative regions are not officially recognized or managed by China, and are usually also not acknowledged by any other sovereign state or usually not acknowledged by other micronational entities.

Self-proclaimed special administrative regions are notable for claiming smaller more realisitc managable area's than a lot of micronations, as the self-proclaimed special administrative regions seek to be smaller like Macau which most self-proclaimed special administrative regions base their government off of instead of Hong Kong.

Because they are not recognized by China, they are more autonomous and act more similar to a Micronation that just follows chinese law, and sometimes are considered simulationist micronations.
