The Minister of Justice, sometimes known as the Justice Minister, is an executive department head in the Federal Government of Aumarea with overall responsibility for the Department of Justice. The incumbent is a member of the cabinet. The minister advises the president on all legal matters. The office was established on 4 March 2023.
Responsibilities
The justice minister is the chief law enforcement officer of the United Federation. They have oversight of things such as matters of probation, the federal judiciary and any federal correctional services.
They also nominate the Attorney General.
The justice minister works closely with the homeland security minister.
Appointment
Under the appointment clause of the constitution, the minister is appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate.
