  • Supreme Symbol of the Empire
  • Appointing State Monarchs to Become the Hereditary State Leaders

Titles and Styles

The Garman monarch, is styled "Imperial Majesty". However, when being referenced specifically as King or Queen of Drunia they are usually styled as "Majesty" instead.

In order of rank the incumbent monarch holds the current titles:

  • Emperor of Garmany
  • King of Drunia [a]
  • King of Bania [b]
  • Crown Prince of Garmany [c]
  • Crown Prince of Drunia [d]

By default, the emperor holds any state hereditary monarchal titles that haven't been granted yet.

In official correspondence, the pronouns referring to the monarch are always capitalized, and the use of the pronouns "We/Our" is preferred to the use of "I/My".

Succession

The imperial monarchy's succession laws are briefly outlined in the Constitutions of Garmany and Drunia. Both the Garman and Drunian monarchy have the same succession laws applied to them, as required by the Garman constitution as the "Presidency of the Empire" (position as head of state) is given to the King of Drunia.

The monarchy follow male preference primogeniture. All people born into the imperial family are eligible to inherit the throne, but preference is given first to the male children of the reigning emperor. The heir apparent, who is the eldest son of the reigning monarch, is typically granted the titles of Crown Prince of Garmany and Crown Prince of Drunia. However, sometimes the titles are combined to form the title Crown Prince of Garmany and Drunia.
