Originally purchased by First President Ethan Brinkman's grandfather, Jack Brinkman around 15 - 20 years ago the ship remained the property of Jack until it was handed to Ethan's father, Wesley Brinkman in around 2014.

In late-2019 following the advancement of the military of the Arstotzkan Union after the First Civil Conflict, President Ethan Brinkman designated the ship as property of the Navy of the Arstotzkan Union. In 2020 the ship was designated the National Service Ship Oldtown (NSS Oldtown) with NSS being a recreated version of USS which is used by the United States.

Since then the ship has not been used for major military use.
