The Nationalist Worker's Party (NWP), better known as the Fatherland Party is the founding and sole ruling party of the New Rubix Republic. commonly known as New Rubix. It was founded in 2015 and is the oldest existing party in New Rubix. It controls the New Rubixian Army and the New Rubixian Air Force through the Armed Forces Central Committee. The NWP was the sole party represented in the National Assembly until democratic elections were held replacing pre-existing party seats with those held by independent-leftist candidates. However, the NWP maintains a leading role as the "Foremen of the State" and continue to dictate state policy and political ideology.

Party Composition

Command Structure

The Party Chairman holds absolute power and full command over the party. All other party offices are subordinate to this position and depend on its instructions. Directly subjected to the Chairman are the Party Executives who typically hold Ministerial positions within the government. Unlike a State Executive, a Party Executive does not administer to a specific geographic area but rather a specific sphere of interest to their government Ministry.

The command structure of the party itself is divided into three levels: the general party membership within the Street Action Group, the supervisor ranked Party Supervisory Corp and the executive ranked Party Leadership Corp encompassed by State and Party Executives directly under the Chairman himself.

Paramilitary Organisations

Several paramilitary organisations have been established over the years since the founding of the New Rubix Republic. However in 2018, all extant paramilitary organisations were amalgamated into the Patriotic Defense Front (PDF) under the direct control of the Party Chairman. All members of the PDF are required to become regular members of the Nationalist Worker's Party. However, an exception is granted to foreign nationals who join on an ideological basis if they are a member of an equivalent local paternalistic conservative party from their own state.

Paramilitary ranks were not standardised between the various paramilitary organisations. Following amalgamation, the rank structure for the New Rubixian Army was adopted with an adjustment to a solid red backing and gold insignia to distinguish from regular armed forces. In 2018 the rank structure was shifted from the modified NRA insignia to standard party rank insignia.

The Street Action Groups that form the lowest level of party command structure are a national formation of the PDF. Local or ad-hoc formations may be named after the Supervisor or Executive which raised and organised it.

Affiliated Organisations

Fatherland Labour Front - The national labour organisation that replaced independent trade unions following their outlaw.
Nationalist Workers Friendship Association - The official NWP foreign outreach organisation dedicated to spreading the values of Paternalistic Conservatism and communicating with like-minded foreign individuals and political parties.

Party Symbols

Fasces - A symbol of unity, strength and authority. Derived from the ancient Roman meaning as a material symbol of a Roman magistrate's full civil and military power.
Tripillar (ᚼ) - The three arms represent the three pillars of the state. The Party, The People and the Armed Forces.

Station and Rank Collar Tab Insignia

The three levels of party command structure each have their own "station" collar tab to denote the wearer's position within the party organisational hierarchy. Each station has three ranks that correspond to it that denote the wearer's rank within that station. Station insignia is worn on the left lapel while rank insignia is worn on the right. Party members who have not yet received their NWP Membership Badge wear red bordered blank black collar tabs. The rank of Cell Trooper is granted following receiving the NWP Membership Badge and subsequently being appointed to a local Cell within the Street Action Groups.

Political Decorations

Political decorations of the NWP are medals and awards that have been issued since the Party's formation in 2015. Political awards are authorised to be worn on any paramilitary uniforms of the New Rubix Republic, as well as civilian attire, but may also be worn on military uniforms of the Armed Forces of the New Rubix Republic. Members of the Patriotic Defense Front freely wear both political awards and military decorations on their uniforms.

Party Badges

The NWP Badge in Gold is a special award given at the discretion of Chairman of the NWP to members of the party who have performed outstanding service to the Party or State.
The NWP Badge in Silver is awarded to members of the NWP upon 5 years of uninterrupted membership in the party.
The NWP Membership Badge is given to all members of the NWP upon joining the party and undergoing a subsequent 2 week probationary period. Until then, new members of the NWP typically wear a New Rubix Republic flag pin on their lapel.

Command Badges

Party Executive Badge is worn by senior party members who typically hold Ministerial positions within government.
State Executive Badge is worn by senior party members who hold the position of provincial governor within the New Rubix Republic.
Fatherland Labour Front Badge is worn by senior party members who hold executive positions within the Fatherland Labour Front.
