The Principality of Civivento is a micronation founded by Alessandro I on April 12th 2023, within the territory of Lazio, Italy, specifically in Civitavecchia. The capital is Regentia. The micronation currently boasts a population of over 10 citizens and is steadily expanding. The current form of government is a parliamentary monarchy. The principality draws inspiration from reviving the historical values of the Ancient Rome. The official and most widely spoken language is Italian, while Latin and Spanish serve as official languages too, albeit less commonly spoken.

Etymology
The name "Civivento" is a combination of two fundamental concepts: "Civis" and "Vento". "Civis" recalls the concept of citizen and civilization, emphasizing the importance of the community and social values. "Vento", which in English means Wind, symbolizes the dynamism, change and energy that blows through the micronation.
History
The Direct Democratic Republic of Civivento
April 2023
On April 12th 2023, Civivento was established by a group of visionary individuals dedicated to revitalizing the ancient values of Rome. In pursuit of this noble endeavor, they laid the foundation of The Direct Democratic Republic of Civivento. During its nascent stages, the republic experienced noteworthy accomplishments, showcasing its potential for greatness.
In a significant development, on April 13th, the capital city of Regentia was established, serving as a symbol of the republic's aspirations and identity. With time, the republic witnessed steady growth and progress, surpassing a population milestone of 20 citizens.
May 2023
Throughout the month of May, Civivento underwent a significant phase of territorial expansion, stretching its boundaries to encompass broader territories, arriving as far as Tuscania. However, regrettably, around mid-May, the republic faced escalating tensions and strained relations with nearby youth gangs.
As a result of these deteriorating circumstances, a strategic decision was made to initiate a process of territorial militarization. Consequently, military bases were established. These bases functioned as essential facilities for the secure storage and rigorous testing of various army armaments, reinforcing the republic's capacity to address potential security challenges and maintain internal stability.
The civil war and the Principality of Civivento
June 2023
In the early days of June, Civivento achieved successful territorial annexation in Monte Romano. However, this expansion was accompanied by the emergence of internal tensions within the principality. A faction of the population formed alliances with enemy gangs, eliciting strong disapproval from another faction. As a consequence, the faction known as the monarchists emerged as a response to these divisive circumstances.
As the tensions escalated, the monarchists orchestrated a coup d'état on June 20th, instigating a full-blown civil war within the republic. Gradually, the anti-monarchist forces were driven out from all territories situated in Civitavecchia, seeking sanctuary in Aurenea, situated in Tuscania.
On July 28th 2023, the army under the command of the monarchists launched a military assault on Aurenea, resulting in widespread pillaging and destruction. The anti-monarchist forces were eventually compelled to surrender, subsequently facing exile from the principality as the monarchist rule consolidated its authority. Thus the Principality of Civivento was founded.
