The micronation established by Gareth Johnson in 2018. The Principality of Islandia consists of 200 likeminded citizens. 59 of them established IBG inc. to crowdfund money, democratically vote and purchase a beautiful island for their beloved motherland. The islandians have looked at different islands all over the world, including Panama, Ireland and Philippines. Finally they put their eyes a 1 ha Coffee island, located in blue waters of Belize. The islandians plan to develop the island into glamping airbnb or leave it in serenity as it is, depending on the money they will be able to raise in the future.
