The Provisional State of Lytpatri (Irisen: Tempor Stat o'Lytpatri) , commonly known as Lytpatri, was a micronation that claimed no territory other than Do Plocat o'Rena, which was located in Central Florida. Do Plocat o'Rena served as the capital of the nation. The maximum population was 1.

Lytpatri was founded on 19 June 2023. All issues of state and all decisions were made by the sole and absolute Ruler of Lytpatri (Rena o'Lytpatri), who was Iris Nox.

Etymology

Lytpatri comes from the Irisen words lyt meaning light and patri meaning country.

History

Lytpatri started when the language of Irisen began being developed. The establishment of the nation was on 19 June 2023, when Ruler Iris gave a name to the language they were developing. On 20 June 2023, the Flag of Lytpatri (Bana o'Lytpatri) began development, and was finalized on 24 June 2023.

On 24 June 2023, the Constitution of the Democratic State of Lytpatri began formation, and on 25 June 2023 the Provisional Dictatorship was dissolved. Iris Nox then became Head of the Council of the Democratic State of Lytpatri.

Politics and government

Lytpatri was a leftist nation. Progressive ideals, such as equality, social justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and national liberation were all fundamental to the nation.

Ruler

The Ruler of Lytpatri had full power over all executive, legislative, and judicial decisions of Lytpatri. They had absolute power. The only ruler was Ruler Iris Nox.

Military

The military of Lytpatri was called The Defense, led by the Supreme Commander of the Defense

Lytpatri recognized all nations.

Culture

Lytpatri had a progressive and artistic culture, with influence from the United States where all Lytpatriperns were located, and from progressive and artistic movements both within the United States and around the world. Lytpatri encouraged diversity, uniqueness, creativity, and progress.

Visual Art

Lytpatri visual art was in digital and physical forms, and in a variety of different styles. For example, Ruler Iris created art in both digital and physical formats in a variety of different styles, including surrealism and realism. Lytpatriperns were encouraged to express themselves however they wish.

Music

Lytpatri music was not a single style of music. Ruler Iris created digital music, particularly noise music and experimental music. However, Lytpatriperns were encouraged to express themselves however they wish.

Literature

Lytpatri literature was typically written in either Irisen or English. A common form of literature was poetry

Pride

LGBTQ+ (LSTTC+) identities were common and celebrated among Lytpatriperns. Mont o'Prid was a month long holiday surrounding the celebration of LGBTQ+ people, which was observed by all Lypatriperns. Common events during this month were to discuss and educate about LGBTQ+ identities, to have parades and gatherings, and to protest against anti-LGBTQ+ laws and officials.

Activism

Lytpatriperns were progressive, and tended to partake in activism. Common causes were LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive rights, racial equality, climate issues, environmental issues, and anti-conservatism.

Language

Irisen was the official language of Lytpatri, and English, Spanish, French, and German were all languages used within the nation.
