The Republic of Dirigo was an independent sovereign state, commonly referred to as a micronation by outside observers, founded on 21 April 2023 by Logan Medlin following the dissolution of the State of Faltree. Dirigo occupies and encompasses all of land formerly comprising the Faltrian county of Dirigo. Medlin is the President of Dirigo, and holds de-facto total control as of founding of the Republic. The Republic of Dirigo became the Special Autonomous Region of Verazano on 16 July 2023, being annexed into the Free Socialist State of Paloma.
