The Republic of Gurvata was a micronation established by Pádraig Ó Ceocháin in July 2014. The Republic would eventually go on to merge with the Democratic Republic of Leylandiistan to form the Confederation of Leylandiistan and Gurvata in August, a month later. During the short period before Gurvata merged with Leylandiistan, it's parliament met only on a few occasions before its signature of the Treaty of Union. Its economy, like Leylandiistan's, was mainly agrarian, and it produced crops like carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, thyme and apples. It also attempted to make a conlang called Gurvatan, a project which was not continued following its inclusion in the COnfederation.
