Republic of Terwas

Terwas (Taiwanese Mandarin: 特維斯), officially the Republic of Terwas (Taiwanese Mandarin: 特維斯共和國Tè-wéi-sī-gònghéguó；Taiwanese:特維斯共和國ti̍k-uî-suh-kiōng-hô-kok；Indonesian：Republik Terwassia), is a micronation in East Asia enclaved by Taiwan. Its territory is mainly comprised of the regions of Terwas native(特維斯本土)and Xuanxuan Autonomous region(瑄瑄自治政區),Then the capital is in the Merdeka Capital District(門天卡首政區). Most of the country is located in Taoyuan and Taichung in Taiwan.The total area of Terwas is about 1.3 square kilometres.

History

The Early Years of Terwas

The Grand Republic Government was established in East Java, Indonesia in July 2018. It is an exiled government organization with no fixed domain. The reason for its establishment is to oppose "the supremacy of single nationalism" and "for the purpose of cultural integration such as Taiwan and Indonesia". The government finally decided not to establish a "fixed regime" in Indonesia. On August 7, 2018,the leader of the Great Republican Government-Iponk Chang, returned to Taiwan and decided to establish a "fixed regime" in Taiwan, announcing the establishment of a country called the Republic of Terwas ("Terwas" originates from the fast sound and ligature of the words of Taiwan and Indonesia),When the Republic of Terwas belonged to a one-person country.

Period of rapid development

Beginning in 2021, Terwas' population has increased rapidly, breaking away from the state of a one-person country, and flourishing in all aspects. In mid-2021, Iponk Chang announced the implementation of the "main law" (Constitution) and held the first President of Legislative at the end of the year, which was elected by Anderson Chen.

Geography

Terwas native is located in Guishan District,Taoyuan City,Taiwan. But the Xuanxuan autonomous region is located in Nantun District,Taichung City,Taiwan.

Government and politics

Legislature

Legislative power is held by the unicameral Legislature, made up of all citizens, and convene regularly to pass laws, Voting on national bills, proposals, reviewing budgets, matters against Presidential proposals and the right to know the list of cabinet members. President of Legislative is elected by all citizens every three years and is responsible for chairing meetings and representing the opinions of ordinary citizens.
