History

The Unova Progress party was formed by Yap Kam Ming on 31 December 2019,after the dissolvment of Unova Union Party. The party then slowly grew support from the citizens until they eventually become the government during the 1st June 2020 National Elections. However, during the 7th November 2020 Government election, the Progress party and Unova Islamic Party formed a coalition called the National Alliance. This was because of both parties having a tie during the election. After the change of government of Unova on 26 March 2021, much like other parties in Unova, the Progress party became more on more inactive.

The formation

The formation of Progress was partially because of the dissolvement of Unova Union Party. It was created to let old members of the Union Party join the new Progress party.

The Dissolvement

Unova Progress Party finally dissolved on 12 July 2021 marking the ending of the most oldest political party in Unova. The Party was dissolve after the Illegalization of Political Parties Act(12/7/21) that was passed on 11 July 2021 in the Royal Council
