Woodland Republic

The Woodland Republic is a micronation founded on March 5, 2020 in Central Virginia, USA. It is a republic lead by President Denzel Johnson and the Council of the States. It was a member of the Micronational Assembly. Population: 8

Etymology

The name "The Woodland Republic" was created because it is a republic in the woodlands of Virginia.

History

The Woodland Republic was formed March 5, 2020 to have a government that wanted to set people free from America's sense of "freedom".

The Empire of the Golden Plains Alliance (2020)

Soon after the Woodland Republic was formed, King Latrel Akeem Macord formed the Empire of the Golden Plains. Together, they formed an alliance.

The Gold Plains War (2020)

Later, King Latrel Akeem Macord attacked the Woodland Republic. The Woodland Republic sent their small, poorly trained military to take as much land from the empire as they could. They took 3/4 of the land. Later, at the Battle of Amandania, the forced King Latrel Akeem Macord to surrender himself and all his land. The Empire of the Golden Plains became the state of The Golden Plains.

Government

The government of the Woodland Republic from ranks highest to lowest:

President: President can command the military, be a represent the Woodland Republic when dealing with intermicronational affairs, create bills, recognize foreign micronations.
Everyone in the Council of States (States representatives/governors): Vote on passing bills (president signs them), vote on making treaties, vote on declaring war, vote on impeachment, vote on any economic matters, vote on declaring national emergencies and Marshal Law.
3 Judges: Vote on innocent or guilty, vote on punishments.
Individual state representative/governor: Command both state-wide and city-wide police, create bills, represent state when dealing with micronational affairs.
Citizens: Protest and petition, create bills.

These are the laws that we, the people, have agreed on to to create rights that are equal and fair for every citizen and laws to protect those rights.

Amendments

Everyone has freedom of speech and religion.

Any type of fighting physically is not allowed (This includes no weapons).

If anyone in the government abuses their power, they can get impeached by a vote among the Supreme Judges.

Everyone is considered equal and has equal rights, but this can be taken as a punishment for a crime or as Marshal Law.

Citizens can live outside the borders as long as they state themselves as woodlandian.

All citizens deserve protection from any form of harm.

Every citizen has the right to sue and stand trial.

One extra cap must be paid as tax to the government for and purchases made inside the borders.

Military

The military was formed March 12, 2020 to combat the Empire of the Golden Plains in the Gold Plains war of 2020. It is now very small but has more advanced weaponry, tactics, and uniforms. There are two divisions of the military:

Army: They stay on land and use the forest the their advantage. They have dark weapons and have camo uniforms.

Air Force: The Air force only consists of one person because there is only one drone to fly. Air Force spy on enemies with drones and gather intel.

Economy

The currency is caps and dollar bills. USD is also legal tender.
