Zachary Shell is the Superior Governor, and former Supreme Chancellor, of the Marxist Empire. He is a former citizen of an allied micronation, New Southland. He fled New Southland with Elijah Winterville after a failed rebellion, and helped Elijah form their own nation, the Marxist Empire.
History
New Southland
The first traces of Zachary Shell in the micronational community can be traced back to April of 2022. He joined a newly created micronation named New Southland, along with many of his friends, including Elijah Winterville and Marcus Barensky. Zachary Shell served both time in the military and government during his time in New Southland. He became the Prime Minister on two seperate occassions, running in opposition to Elijah Winterville. However, another political party had been formed around the same time, which was formed by Cory Angelstone. Cory won the next election, which prompted Elijah Winterville and Zachary Shell to join forces and merge political parties. This idea didn't live long though, as Marcus Barensky was forced to flee the country for personal reasons. After Marcus fled the country, the nations leadership was in shambles, which was when Elijah Winterville and Zachary Shell decided to strike. Together with Elijah Winterville, they formed a rebellion, bearing the name 'Viva La Rebellion'. They had the power of their political party behind them as well, which had a third of the political seats. Their party was renamed from The National Elijah Winterville Party to The National Uprising Party. However, Quinn Kampana took control of the country much faster than expected, and 'Viva La Rebellion' collapsed. Elijah Winterville knew that they would face capital punishment, especially as the new President was much harsher than Marcus Barensky. Elijah Winterville and Zachary Shell fled the country as their last resort.
The Marxist Empire
After Elijah Winterville had created the Marxist Empire, Zachary Shell was granted citizenship, as well as the Supreme Chancellor position. He held the second highest position in the nation. He managed the government and internal affairs of the Marxist Empire, as well as managing the 'Marxist Department of Security.' However, Zachary Shell was demoted from this position due to traitorous activities, and now holds the Superior Governor position. Zachary Shell remains as the leader over the autonomous state of Corvis, however, his authority over the state is secondary to the Supreme Emperor and Supreme Advisor.

Information
The Marxist Empire is a self-declared sovereign state, also referred to as a micronation. The empire is located in several locations surrounding and within the town of Bunbury, Australia, consisting of one state, three territories and one vassal state. This is a newly founded micronation, founded by Elijah Winterville and Zachary Shell, former citizens of an annexed micronation, the former Republic of New Southland. New Southland was annexed by the Marxist Empire, and is now a vassal state of the nation, named the Vassal State of New Southland. The Marxist Empire is ruled by Elijah Winterville, who holds the position of Supreme Emperor.
The Marxist Empire is a semi-socialist state, and it operates using a totalitarian governmental system, which is managed by the Supreme Emperor. Elijah Winterville, the Supreme Emperor, is an autocratic dictator. The economy of the Marxist Empire operates under a semi-socialist and communist economic system, in which private property and goods have been abolished, and resources, capital goods and land are allocated as needed equally to the citizens of the Marxist Empire. The economy can be categorised as a command economy within a controlled market, as the government of the nation completely controls all aspects of the economy.
The Marxist Empire holds five territorial claims, all of which are within the Commonwealth of Australia. This is due to the fact that the Marxist Empire declared independence from Australia. As a result of this, the nation almost entirely borders the Commonwealth of Australia. The Vassal State of New Southland shares a border with a territory of the Marxist Empire, as the Frostin Valley Territory and New Southland share an open border, which stretches across the entire length of the territory and vassal state. All the territorial claims of the Marxist Empire are landlocked, however, the Frostin Valley Territory and the Vassal State of New Southland are quite close to the beach, as both of them border a beach claimed by the Commonwealth of Australia.
Etymology
The name, 'Marxist Empire', represents the founders communist ideals. Elijah Winterville believes communism is the only route for a utopia, and will protect their ideals with an autocratic dictatorship.
The national flag of the Marxist Empire represents the nations intelligence, represented by red, strength, represented by black, and the white represents the purity of the nations ideals. The hammer and sickle represents the socialist and communist ideals the nation is built upon. However, there is more meaning to the flag when all of these elements are combined. The red and black together represent the blood and darkness in the world, and the white pillars are the four original territorial claims of the Marxist Empire, representing hope. The white circle in the middle represents the Supreme Emperor, who holds these four pillars of hope together.
The national anthem of the Marxist Empire is a patriotic song sung in German, which embodies the beauty and gloriousness of the nation.
The national sports are fencing and archery, as combat is a large cultural practice of the nation. The mosquito is the national animal, as it is densely populated within the Frostin Valley Territory. The national dish is 'Gugsuwa Dubu,' a cultural meal made by the Supreme Emperor.

The founders of the Marxist Empire, Elijah Winterville and Zachary Shell, originally claimed positions of power within their government. Elijah is the Supreme Emperor of the nation, forming a totalitarian, autocratic dictatorship dictatorship to rule the country. They manage foreign affairs such as negotiations, treaties and wars, and manages all components of the government. Zachary Shell is the former Supreme Chancellor, originally taking command of the second most powerful role within the government. They handled internal affairs and co-manage the minor components within the government of the Marxist Empire. However, they were demoted from this position due to traitorous activities. The Supreme Advisor position has been granted to 'CLASSIFIED,' which is a role independent of the government and military. They act as a personal advisor to the Supreme Emperor. They are temporarily managing the duties of the former Supreme Chancellor.
The nation operates using a totalitarian governmental system, which is managed by the Supreme Emperor, who is an autocratic dictator. The economy of the Marxist Empire operates under a communist economic system, in which private property and goods have been abolished, and resources, capital goods and land are allocated as needed equally to the citizens of the Marxist Empire. National freedoms are granted in legislation passed by the Supreme Emperor. Legal and economic equality are a major part of the system in which the Marxist Empire is ruled.

Political System
The Marxist Empire is ruled by an autocratic dictatorship, with complete power vested in the Supreme Emperor. The political system is a one-party-system, and the National Elijah Winterville Party manages the government of the nation. The National Elijah Winterville Party is a former political party of the former Republic of New Southland, and has two members, the Supreme Emperor, Elijah Winterville, who is the leader of the party, and the former Supreme Chancellor, Zachary Shell. The political party is a communist party, which is represented in the flag by a hammer and sickle. The style of the flag matches the colours of the nation's flag, as the political party controls the nation's government. The party is named after the leader, and Supreme Emperor of the nation, Elijah Winterville.
After Elijah Winterville and Zachary Shell fled their former country, they reformed their political party into a dictatorship in order to rule the Marxist Empire in a one-party-system. While the party had been called 'The National Uprising Party' in support of their rebellion, they changed the name back to the 'National Elijah Winterville Party.'
The Vassal State of New Southland is ruled by the Vassal President, Andrew Ongleburger.

Personality
Zachary Shell is the opposite of Elijah Winterville, having a more compassionate personality.[citation needed] It is unclear how he and Elijah became friends and allies, but it somehow happened.
