The 24th Clature Division Brigade or more commonly the 24th KDB is the special forces unit of the Imperial Federation of Schpecktenia. The main goal of the KDB is to carry out operations unknown to the public, or actions that can only be done by few soldiers.
The KDB has been used in every war Schpecktenia has been involved in since the New Prussia-Schpecktenia War. As of December 2023 and the ongoing Greater Metro East War, the KDB has won six battles and no defeats.
History
The KDB started off as the 31st Rangers Division of the Second Republic of Schpecktenia. The unit was mostly inactive until its separation from Schpecktenia during the Two Days War. The civil war was fought and won, and eventually Luca Tallerico would finally get independence as the Kaiserreich of New Prussia. New Prussia has there own special forces called the PMC Wotan Group, which is comprised of the soldiers from the Rangers Division with New Prussian nationality. Schpecktenia essentially copied PMC Wotan's practices and formed the 24th KDB.
During the New Prussia-Schpecktenia War, a war fought against New Prussia's imperialistic ideas, the KDB was used in the annexation of New Prussia's Minnesota colonies. This action was done without the approval of the public or Schpecktenian government knowing, solidifying the unit's secrecy.
Etymology
The unit gets it's name from the Lakewood Language, the key word being Klą’τuϼe (Clature), meaning "Feminine Man." It is unknown why a unit meant for secret operations took on this questionable name.
