Prelude

Luka Hochreich originally declared independence from the Second Republic of Schpecktenia as the Schpecktneian People's Front, a communist break away state. This even caused the Schpecktenian Civil War, or the Two Days War. Hochreich lost to the Second Republic, his land was annexed and he was fined 5.25 Marks. He pleaded for Schpecktenia to reduce in size and for the ban on communist and socialist nations to be lifted. His demands were met, and he was pardoned for the civil war.

His province, St. Charles, eventually became the Region of the Duchy of New Prussia in the Imperial Federation of Schpecktenia. Since Schpecktenia's government was changed, his region was more independent. Still, it was culturally different from Schpecktneia, and Ruby I still had restrictions on what he can and cannot do with the region. He wanted complete independence, and asked Ruby I if New Prussia could be its own nation. Independence was granted, and after a few meetings, he had a proper government and borders.

Cause

The war started when Ruby I commented on New Prussia's colonization of Le Claire Lake, stating that Schpecktenia's colonization was done right, and "New Prussia’s own version no one liked because it was unfair." The only thing "unfair" about the colonization of Le Claire Lake was that New Prussia had two slots reserved for themselves. This upset Luka I, "Its MY colonization project" he said, and "Ill make it unfair."

Annexation of the New St. Charles Territory

Luka I ordered the PMC Wotan Group to take control of the New St. Charles Territory, the colony Schpecktenia gained in Le Claire Lake. The PMC annexed it without any resistance, and then New Prussia declared war on Schpecktenia on 12 July. Schpecktenia successfully recaptured New St. Charles from New Prussian forces on 5 August.

War Fought in Vineland

Ruby I decided that this could be her chance to put New Prussia in their place after they declared independence, but she was far from Schpecktenia's mainland, she was to stay in the Vinelandish Colony of Merrifield for three weeks on vacation. Just three hours into the war, Schpecktenia raised its flag in the New Prussian embassy on the Schpecktenia server, symbolizing its unwavering resolve. Schpecktenia and Liveno signed the Brainerd Agreement, pooling their resources to form the 23rd Livenia Army Corps, a strategic move to enhance their military capabilities. The Brainerd Agreement ultimately never worked, and was scrapped.

Annexation of New Prussian Colony

The 24th Klature Division Brigade was sent to New Prussia's colony in Pelican Lake on 12 July, just a 12-minute drive from Colony of Merrifield. The CDB took it easily, then Ruby I declared war on New Prussia.

Battle of Meadowen

On 22 July, The New Prussian Armed Forces successfully captured the Grand Estate of Meadowen and a portion of the Province of Meadowen, gaining ground in the conflict. Following this, the 1st Imperial Rifle Unit of Schpecktenia managed to retake the capital and most of the Province of Meadowen, but was not fully retaken. On 10 August, Ruby I alone recaptured the rest of taken territory.

New Prussia attempted to end the war when Ruby I came back to Meadowen, Luka I extended the Treaty of Waldlania to Ruby I, proposing a surrender of Schpecktenia. Schpecktenia initially accepted the terms of the Treaty of Waldlania, but later decided to continue fighting.

Oakdale Invasion

On 3 August, Schpecktenia launched the Oakland Invasion, invading New Prussian territories. The invasion was mostly a success (pictured), seeing no resistance, but Schpecktenia couldn't invade too far.

End of War

After a series of battles and negotiations, the war ended in a draw. Both powers signed the revised Treaty of Waldlania, which outlined terms for peace and territorial adjustments. The Treaty of Waldania stated that Schpecktenia and New Prussia must have a 5-year non-aggression pact, trade with each other, give back all taken land, and Schpecktenia must join New Prussia's Reichspakt.
