The Sixth Imperial Federation of the Second Schpecktenian Republic, more commonly known as Schpecktenia, is a micronation in Greater Metro East. Schpecktenia's capital is located in Edwardsville, Illinois. The mainland consists of Meadowen, Vineland, Shadowfoxia, Seglexas, Hawth-Koufax, Stallion, and Metbir. Meadowen, the capital state, was founded along with the Grand Empire of Schpecktenia in 5 October 2022. Schpecktenia was first created as a monarchy by Ruby Specht on 4 October 2022.
The government of the nation has three parts, the executive, the Grand Assembly, and the Convocation, the executive and convocation can create laws. If the executive makes a law, the Grand Assembly must vote on it. If the Convocation makes a law, the president and second executive officer must approve of it, or the Grand Assembly can vote. Con-states are states whose leaders are in the Convocation and can pass laws, while Emb-States have elected Senators to vote in the Grand Assembly. The four main political parties in Schpecktenia are the Secessionist Party, Simulationist Representative Party, Democratic Monarchist Party, and the Centrist-Independent Party, representing right, middle, and left of the Micronational compass.
Etymology
Schpecktenia is a modified version of the president's last name, Specht. -tenia means "Land Of." The full name of Schpecktenia is "The Land of Specht."
History
Schpecktenia started off on 4 October 2023 as the Monarchy of Schpecktenia, which would evolve into the Grand Empire of Schpecktenia a day later. Only three remains of the Grand Empire exist today, the states of Meadowen, Seglaeghn, and Shadowfoxia. The Grand Empire was ultimately unsuccessful due to the period of inactivity known as the Dark Times. On 16 January 2023, Schpecktenia would become the Second Republic of Schpecktenia. The Second Republic had three provinces; Shadowfoxia, St. Charles, and Monroe. St. Charles would declare independence as the Schpecktenian People's Front on 11 February 2023, and led to the Two Days War. The Two Days War was a civil war between the Second Republic and the People's Front, and the Second Republic won the war. The People's Front leader, Luca Tallerico, was fined 2 Schpecktenian Marks, and the ban on communism was lifted. After the Two Days War, the Second Republic became the Third Imperial Schpecktenian Republic. The Imperial Republic's key goal was colonialism, and would start the Colonization of Mille Lacs Lake and Pelican Lake along with several other micronations. During this time, Schpecktenia's national language Lakewood would be created as Old Shpeck.
Following the colonization spree, Schpecktenia would enter a second Dark Times. Schpecktenia isolated themselves from the rest of the micronational community, and Ruby I would give Schpecktenia to Haltenburg, allowing Schpecktenia to die out. After a two long months, Schpecktenia gained independence as the current for the Imperial Federation of Schpecktenia. Schpecktenia now has states instead of provinces, and has a genuine government and political system. The state system at the time was flawed, and one of Schpecktenia's states, the Province of Drost, would declare independence as the Empire of Taydrostia. Schpecktenia and Taydrostia would coexist peacefully until territorial disputes, which led to the Greater Metro East War. The war initially ended in a Schpecktenian victory, and Ruby I significantly changed how states and leaders would work.
Schpecktenia flourished with the creation of a new coat of arms, joining of the Micronational Assembly, and reestablishing politics, but the conflict restarted. A nationalist group secedes from the Republic of South Meadowen, the revision of the old Taydrostian government, and starts the Taydrostian Civil War. The conflict continued with New Prussia getting involved, and the Greater Metro East War restarts.
Politics and government
The key four political groups in Schpecktenia represent Left, Right, Libertarian, and Centrist. Most of Schpecktenia's governmental operations are carried out through ministries and departments. The Department of War and Foreign Affairs (WFA), the Ministry of Home Defense and Creation, the Department of Economic Affairs, the Federation Criminal and Detective Ministry (FKD), and the Multifarious Necessitude Department.
Early government
The old government used to be three provinces, Meadowen, St Charles, and Monroe. Three people would be in charge of the provinces, called Lead Province Directors. The ideology of the small amount of provinces is called Provincism, and still survives in the Greater Metro East.
President
The president is the spokesperson of the Schpecktenian people, key law maker, and national diplomat. The president is the head of state and has non-limited powers and duties prescribed by law.
Runen Executive Officer (Vice President)
The Runen Executive Officer is the vice president and head of government. Runen, meaning Second in Lakewoodish spells out that they are the second in command. The president and REO work together to create and/or pass laws.
Convocation
The convocation is a legislative body of either appointed or elected representatives of every region in Schpecktenia. Members of the Convocation work together to create laws or revise past laws. Once they all agree, the members send the law to the Grand Assembly for it to be voted on. The Convocation creates laws and oversees the executive branch. Originally, the Convocation was the only house in the government. It was turned into just the law-making house upon the creation of the Grand Assembly.
Grand Assembly
The Grand Assembly is another piece of the legislative body that comprises of senators fairly elected in January, April, July, and October. The Grand Assembly votes on laws, and also oversees the executive branch. The Grand Assembly currently struggles with the speed of passing laws. It usually takes up to two weeks for a law to be voted on.
Political parties
The party system in Schpecktenia used to be a one party system. It was illegal to have any other political parties, but this was one of the key reasons why St. Charles declared independence which led to the Two Days War.

Law and order
Schpecktenia's law enforcement is carried out by the Federation Criminal and Detective Ministry. Most laws are common sense, but the biggest law in the nation is you cannot own physical or images of Venus Flytraps.
Military
The United Military of Schpecktenia is the branch of military containing the 1st Imperial Rifle Unit, the 2nd Imperial Guard's Unit, and all State Militias. States have the right to have militias, but they must temporarily join with the 1st Imperial Rifle Unit during war. Originally, the military used to be known as the Interprovincial Army of Schpecktenia. It had two units, which still survive to this day. The IAS was used until the creation of the Imperial Federation, when it was changed to the UMS.
Warfare
Schpecktenia has had a reputation of trying to refrain from warfare, but has struggled with being totally abstinent. Schpecktenia has fought in five wars, but the most important is the Greater Metro East War. This war was the first to see controlled physical fighting, rather than the online and unpredictable fighting that has happened in the past.
Foreign relations
Schpecktenia helped create and join the Organization of Great States (OGS), an organization of alliance and mutual recognition. Schpecktenia wants to become allies with many nations, and accepts friendship with open arms.

Administrative States
Schpecktenia's land works as a system of districts called states. States can be sovereign or non-sovereign, and can have labels like province, duchy, state, or republic. States are separate from territory, states act like US states, and they can control territories. States can either be a Con-State or Emb-State. Con-States are able to create laws, and Emb-States vote on laws.
Since the Third Imperial Schpecktenian Republic, the nation has colonized many places along with other micronations. Schpecktenia has started many intermicronational colonizing events on the beaches of lakes, with colonizing happening in Minnesota and Illinois.

Geography and climate
Schpecktenia is mostly urban areas with a small amount of woods. The nation has three lakes: Lake Specht, Twin Lakes, and Lake Groant.

Economy
The Schpecktenian Mark is backed by Peach Gummy Rings. The currency was changed so that one mark would be equal to 1/10 of a peach ring. 1 Peach Rings is worth 10 Marks. $0.005 is worth 1 Mark. $0.0025 is worth one Havercin. Schpecktenia's central bank, the Bank of Meadowen, has stopped printing marks. The printing of marks will continue once the governmental budget reaches 100,000.
Culture
Schpecktenia has a variety of culture, holidays, and tradition. Since most of the population are mainly German-American, the culture is based off of those two groups. Ruby I proudly celebrates American culture, including their independence day, and Schpecktenia greatly admires American veterans. The same respect for the United States Flag applies to Schpecktenia. Schpecktenian citizens are not allowed to disrespect both the American and Schpecktenian flag.

Schpecktenian Holidays are based off of Ruby's personal experiences and important dates in Schpecktenian history. Media Day, Kriebus Day, Googus Gonk Day, Lover's Day, Gonk Googus Day, and Hazbin Day are all holidays that Ruby I personally wanted to be included into Schpecktenia. Media Day was when she made her first YouTube channel at the age of 10. Kriebus Day was made when Ruby was having a particularly great day. Googus Gonk and Gonk Googus Day were made to celebrate humor, silliness, and fun. Lover's Day is celebrated on the day that Ruby started her first relationship. And Hazbin Day was made to celebrate Ruby's favorite show.
