The Armed Forces where founded on the 3rd of February 2022 but are still under development.
Role
The role of the Armed Forces are primarily to defend the Spainsia Republic. The Armed Forces are typically not deployed unless they are needed to defend the nation or a state of emergency is declared by the President of Spainsia.

Leadership
Commander-in-Chief
The President of Spainsia hold the position of Commander-in-Chief. In this role the President has executive power over the Armed Forces, should they choose to use it under the scrutiny of the House of Representatives.
Defence Board
The Defence Board consist of senior Commissioned Officers, typically General Officers, holding positions such as Chief of the Defence Staff. They meet to discus Defence Policy and oversee the running of the Armed Forces.
