The Cristoro-Huntian Conflict also known as Cristorian Cold War was a geopolitical conflict between the Kingdom of Cristoria and the Kingdom of Huntia. The conflict started on May 20, 2022, and ended on August 27, 2022.

Background

In May 2022, Cristoria made a lot of Propaganda videos on the social media platform known as TikTok about the Huntian Kingdom, as they were at war with one of Cristoria's allies, Narcon.

May 2022

Declaration of War

On May 27, 2022, The Cristorian Parliament declared the situation as Cyberwarfare. The Parliament also agreed to declare war on the Huntian Kingdom, thus started the conflict.

Reactions

On May 21, 2022, the Huntian government made a reaction to the ongoing Cristorian propaganda and in response made propaganda about Cristoria, thus making the two nations rise tensions and heat up the Cold War-type situation.

The propaganda war had gone all the way out to both of the sides' allies, making the cyberwar a big event. Two of the biggest nations in the TikTok micronation community were going at it.

The Gorthian Federation immediately supported Huntia, as they were allies before the conflict started. The Gorthians had states that followed them into the war via union connections.

The Republic of Equaterra, the Socialist Republic of Hoku, Mitrea, and many others supported the Cristorian Kingdom. The Cristorians had more of a reach as they were very close with all of their allies.

June 2022

Operation Moonvault

Operation Moonvault was a cyberwarfare operation carried out by the Cristorian Parliament on the date of June 8, 2022 to cease the propaganda being made about Cristoria.

The operation was rather successful, as the war came to a hault for about a month, the Cristorians and Huntians came to the middle and signed a treaty to hold off on the war temporarily.

The Operation concluded in July after the Treaty of the Sail was signed and the war resumed. The Operation was deemed successful by the Cristorian Parliament.

Operation Institute

Operation Institute, also known as the Cristorian victory over Huntia was a cyber operation carried out by the Cristorian Parliament.

This Operation is specifically what brought down the Huntian Kingdom in August of 2022, bringing victory to the Cristorians.

July 2022

In mid July, the Operation began. Propaganda was spewing from both sides and different micronations were stepping in, supporting either sides, mainly supporting the Huntian Kingdom.

The Cristorian Parliament declared war on Gorthalism around this point, Gorthalism is a form of government created by the Gorthian Federation to help connect their states.

August 2022

The King of Cristoria was notified that all odds were against, however, the operation kept going.

Classified documents stated that the Huntian leader said NSFW things to another micronation and it had been leaked.

On August 26, 2022, Huntia made their final stand before their final collapse. The Cristorians had them surrounded, Huntia's former allies as well.

On August 27, 2022, the Huntian Kingdom officially collapsed, marking the end to the three month conflict and also marking a Cristorian Victory.

Misconceptions

Some common misconceptions are that people sometimes believe this war was fought physically, that is entirely wrong. The war was only held online.

Some people believe Huntia still actually exists, this is also wrong. They collapsed as a nation on August 27, 2022. They no longer exist.

Some other misconceptions are that the nations that supported either belligerents had a chance of dissolution, that is also false.
