The Deputy Prime Minister of Juniperia is the second-highest ranking official in the Government of Juniperia. The office serves as the deputy to the Prime Minister of Juniperia and holds the office in the absence of a Prime Minister.

The office was created automatically with the accession of Queen Athena II to the throne of Juniperia and the proclamation of Juniperia as a monarchy, its predecessor is the Vice-President of the Republic of Juniperia

Functions

The Deputy Prime Minister often assists the Prime Minister, and makes diplomatic visits or attends meetings on behalf of the Prime Minister. As a member of the Council of State, they are present to all meetings conducted by the Council.
