The border argument between the Reformed People's Republic and the Republic of Kerkerland was a quarrel between Reformed citizen Adam Gyurii and the Kerkerlandic governor Ezra Yaraklas. On February 2, 2022, Govenor Yaraklas closed the borders with the Reformed People's Republic after an altercation between him and Reformed citizen Adam Gyurii. The argument started after a friend of Yaraklas announced that he wanted to join the Reformed People's Republic. After Yaraklas found out about this, he convinced that friend to change his mind so that he would join Kerkerland, a puppet state of the Reformed People's Republic. Reformed citizen Adam Gyurii did not agree with this and confronted Yaraklas about this action. Yaraklas was not pleased with this, which resulted in an altercation between the two gentlemen. In response to this, Yaraklas decided to close the border between Kerkerland and the Reformed People's Republic to Reformed citizens.

After President Youri Koeman of the Reformed People's Republic heard what was going on, he decided to intervene. He first heard the story of Gyurii, and then the story of Yaraklas. After it became clear to him what exactly was going on, President Koeman asked both gentlemen to join them in a Discord call. After a 10-minute conversation, it was decided that Kerkerland could keep the potential citizen in question, but then Kerkerland had to reopen the borders and Govenor Yaraklas had to apologize to the Reformed People's Republic. This happened, ending the border argument. President Koeman forgave Yaraklas for what happened and Gyurii also apologized to Yaraklas himself, which he also accepted.
