The First Lady of Capia is the title of the spouse of the President of Capia, usually concurrent with the president's term. The first lady is also typically the hostess of the presidential palace and a representative of the president.
The first lady is supported in her duties by the Office of the First Lady, and is granted a number of staff under her office.
The current first lady is Grace Mills, as wife of first and current president Lukas Mills.
History
The title of first lady was established alongside the presidency on 9 February 2023. However, the First Lady's Office was not created until 15 February 2023.
Role
The role of first lady is a primarily ceremonial role. Nonetheless, first ladies have a highly visible position in Capian society. She is first and foremost the hostess of the Presidential Palace. She organises and attends official ceremonies and functions of state either along with, or in place of, the president.

The Office of the First Lady is aimed to support the role of the first lady. The office supports her in supporting causes, in ceremonial functions at the Presidential Palace and in representing the president. The first lady has her own staff that includes a chief of staff and press secretary.

The first lady is able to elect causes and initiatives to pick up and promote within the nation. Their office creates them a platform to be influential, as the spouse of the president.
