Hielaroek lew Demokrati yū Elaroek (lit. Elarians for democracy in Ela'r'oech), or HDE, is a political party in the Empire of Ela'r'oech. Founded by Aidan Pierce as the successor to the previously existing Common Sense party that existed until 2023. It's core stances mostly are advocacy for the Empire to adopt a constitution once more and for the Emperor to serve more of a ceremonial position.
History
HDE started as Common Sense around 2021 to 2022. Aidan Pierce ran the party, hosting many conservative yet libertarian views and adopting those people as their members. The party would win many elections during its initial run, though mostly winning only Parliamentary positions as opposed to Chancellor or President. However, sometimes members of Common Sense would be promoted to the position of Speaker by the other Members of Parliament.
Political spectrum and views
HDE has no factions. Its position on the political spectrum may be center right to center and libertarian. Their views consist of democratization and conservatism. They are considered one of the more liberal parties within the Empire.
