Imruland Lords Association (abbr. as ILA) is an Imrulian banned terrorist political party established by Firoz Ahmed before the 2023 Imruland President Election. The name of the party came in front of everyone after the attack on the Parliament of Imruland during the 2023 Imruland political crisis. The party is designated as a terrorist organization by the Republic Kingdom of Imruland.

Background

Imruland Lords Association was formed by then cabinet minister Firoz Ahmed on 31 May 2023. The motive to create the party was unknown but experts have analyzed that the party was formed to disrupt the 2023 Imruland President Election and create a crisis in Imruland. After the election, all members of the party boycotted the result and protested against government. No one except the members of this organization rejected the results of the election.

Structure

Imruland Lords Association is headed by the president of the party. The deputy head of the party is vice president. The Chief Justice of the party serves as the de facto leader of the party. The current president is MD Nazmul Hasan Fahim and vice president is Sharif Al Sadiq. The name of the decision making body of the party is "Imruland Lord's Parliament". The party has a logo and a flag of its own. The flag is inspired from the logo of the Parliament of Imruland. They also claim the main flag of Imruland as their own flag.

Leadership

The first leader of the party was Firoz Ahmed as the founder where Fokhrul Sazzad was the de facto leader. Fokhrul Sazzad was announced as the leader after the 2023 attack on the Parliament of Imruland on 10 June 2023. As the party claim MD Nazmul Hasan Fahim as the winner of the 2023 Imruland President Election, the party leadership was handed over to him on 1 January 2024.

After the publication of the results of the 2023 Imruland President Election, the party boycotted the result and called for publishing the correct results. The protestors, led by foremr President Fokhrul Sazzad and Nazmul Hasan Fahim, attacked the Parliament of Imruland at 11.00pm on 10 June 2023. The attack was carried out with heavy weapons such as steel scale, lattice cane, branch of Mandarin tree etc. Imruland Lords Association claimed responsibility of the attack in a Facebook post and their newspaper The Lords Observer. 45 members of the Imruland Armed Force were killed according to their claim. The attackers also threatened to attack President Showib Ahmmed, President-elect Safat Zareef Hassan, Election Commissioner Tanha Shafiq Bhuiyan, and other government officials. The party leader Fokhrul Sazzad brought to justice after 9 months of the brutal attack. The Supreme Court sentenced him to death by public hanging. As he is absconding, the verdict has not been executed yet. The court also designated the party as a terrorist organization.
