Mahitul Islam Leone, also known as Leone Ghumaiteche or simply Leone, is a Bangladeshi-Imrulian politician who had served as the deputy speaker of the parliament of Imruland from 24 May 2023 to 27 March 2024. He is the longest seving deputy speaker in the history of Imruland. He is the secretary of Imruland Legend Committee.

Early life and education

Leone was born on 4 November 20-- in Manikganj, Bangladesh. He completed his high school education from the Savar Cantonment Public School and College in Engineering 2019 and college education from the same institution in 2021. He is completing B.A in from the Southeast University. He is currently working as Fighting President in the Bangladesh Messi League (BML).

Career in Imruland

Mahitul Islam Leone joined Imruland as a member of the Parliament of Imruland in 2023. He worked in different ministries in different times. He was appointeed as the deputy speaker of the parliament of Imruland when President Showib Ahmmed came to power on 24 May 2023. He had served as the deputy speaker of parliament till 27 March 2024. He is also a member of the Imruland Lords Association since the 2023 Imruland political crisis. He is also the secretary of Imrulian legends council "Imruland Legend Committee".

Controversy

Leone was convicted by the Supreme Court of contempt of court on March 27, 2024. The court ordered him to be suspended from his post for 3 days on this charge. He was not re-appointed after the charge.
