Sergeant John Richards (b. 1 July 2003) is an American-Canadian journalist and micronationalist. He is the first editor of the digital micronational newspaper the Penn Press to not be affiliated with the government of the Penn Federal Republic.

Early life

John Lewis Richards was born 1 July 2003 in Rockford, Illinois. He attended primary school in the United States before moving to Canada at the age of sixteen. He was interested in politics from a young age, being involved with his school's Model United Nations. He also displayed a knack for writing and journalism, editing his high school paper before getting involved with the Penn Press.

Career

Richards met Pennian President Devin Purcell in late 2021, and took over as the first independent author of a news publication in the Penn Federal Republic. Working under Editor-in-Chief Maximus Haines, he released multiple publications relating to various aspects of Pennian politics. He also serves as a Lance Corporal in the Medici Police Department and a Sergeant in the Pennian militia.
